Shade for homes in Fredericksburg
Fredericksburg-area homes include ranch houses and weekend retreats with long porches. A long porch is a place where a screen along the open side turns a covered space into a comfortable room in the afternoon, and a lock-and-leave home benefits from a screen you can lower with a remote.
What we install

Questions Fredericksburg homeowners ask
Do you install Hunter Douglas shades?
Yes. We supply and install Hunter Douglas window shades, including sheer, privacy sheer, honeycomb, roller and roman styles, each measured to your window. Hunter Douglas is a trademark of its owner. Aperture & Co. is an independent company, and the brand does not endorse this website.
Do patio screens keep bugs out?
A closed weave with a snug fit at the sides cuts down flying insects, but a screen is not a sealed room. Results depend on the product, the fabric and the installation.
Will a patio screen block my view?
It depends on the fabric. A tighter weave blocks more sun and heat and shows less of the view; a more open weave keeps the view and lets in more light. We bring samples so you can look through them from your own patio, in your own light.
How much do motorized patio screens cost?
We don't publish prices, because two openings are rarely the same. The price depends on the width and height of each opening, the fabric, the motor and how it mounts. After a complimentary consultation at your home you get a written quote for your project.
